In this in-depth analysis/opinion, Scahill goes beyond the obvious, already-stated accusations and offers a new, middle-ground solution to a knotty dilemma.

I share Scahill's belief that the U.S. has been hypocritical in bullishly pressing Iran to give up what Israel, India and Pakistan (not to mention America) have been allowed to have -- all while we are next door, in Iraq, and threatening regime change.
