Okay, so the analysis at the end about Treasury secretary doesn't mention the guy Obama actually chose (Geithner). It's an opinion piece after all. Hellerman makes astute observations about the dance we've been watching between Hillary and Obama over the Secretary of State job. What will happen? We shall see.

a political overview with a bigger picture in mind than much of the opinions we've heard lately. not noted as possibly important with the pres.-elect is the state the world is in and that confidence in the future with knowns instead of unknowns at the helms, may be the most important element in moving forward.

A stylish article, but lacking any assessment of what Hillary Clinton as secretary of state would mean for US foreign policy.

Hillary Clinton has served as an aggessive exponent of the Israeli militarist policy line supported by Aipac, and I think she is the wrong choice for State when no resolution of the Israel/Palestine problem can be achieved when the US is acting as an agent of Israeli hardliners seeking to prevent the creation of a viable independent Palestine.
