I find it interesting that we have an onslaught of this type of stries but no background on the gross negligence of doctors in recommending treatments. In Chico CA they found one of the leadin cardio vascular surgeons in the country had done hundreds of heart stint ops. Most, if not all were unecessry but the hosp ok but they were profitable - this is what drives up insurance rates and if you were paying out your pockets would get stingy fast from doc, drug and hosp fraud. It's a white wall, similar to cops. Insurance cos are an easy target and deserve to be but this blindness to std med svcs industry practices that drives up insurance rates is astounding.
