Obama team taps three for key positions

Jarrett will be adviser

President-elect Barack Obama on Saturday morning said that Valerie Jarrett, a longtime family friend and close counselor with a long history in Chicago politics, will serve as a senior White House adviser.

The Obama transition team also announced the choice of two other individuals for key positions.

, It's news taken off the AP, strung together and presented as journalism.

Of the comments I read off the Post, people seem to think Obama is supposed to appoint a republican after he appoints a democrat to be fair. Give me a break. The republicans for eight years would't even let a democrat put a bill on the floor. Obama has just been elected and yet they think they should have equal billing. Try bringing some new blood and some new ideas to the table and maybe Obama will let you eat at the Adult table.
