Well rounded and clear, but ultimately not much more than a concise memo on the foreign policy push and pull the new administration will face. Perhaps too broad in scope for its brevity. A good attempt, but seems premature.

This piece gives us a sense of strategic movements by foreign powers preceding Obama's presidency. Not particularly well sourced or very deep, but it gets the job done.

brings together the various world issues which so many groups and countries are bring ingto pres.-elect obama's attention for either action or change. many sources are quoted to illustrate the message. [obama's] advisers are 'playing their cards close to the chest" can mean simply that he wait s to see what a couple months of events and thought bring in order to determine anything he either wants or is able to do. tthe story is illustrative of how many vital u.s. interests are actively out there.
