Obama to Explore New Approach in Afghanistan War
The incoming Obama administration plans to explore a more regional strategy to the war in Afghanistan -- including possible talks with Iran -- and looks favorably on the nascent dialogue between the Afghan government and "reconcilable" elements of the Taliban, according to Obama national security advisers. Every since the English Empire marched into Kabul, putting men's heads on sticks to prove some useless theory, The world has tried to conquer the afghanistan people. If the U.S. Military and our Allies even come close to doing what this article implies, inclusion of all parties instead of conquering by one (Russia) maybe the people of the middle east would see, that people come in many colors and religions and at least start a dialogue.
