Posted by Autumn CarlsonThe small part that I read had the potential to be excellent journalism, but was so shallow that it nosedived almost immediately. The format allowed only a brief peek at the article, so it was hard to tell much. But it could have covered the valuable topics of conserving energy, saving paper, and backing up truly valuable business documents. But the pub wants you to buy a subscription, and only twirls the tassel for the wandering reader ...
The hed is misleading at best - the story is really just a rehashed press release from a manufacturer of software that purports to save some paper . As such, it does not comment on how well, if at all, this software might work, under what circumstances it might work, where it would be most useful, what it costs ... really nothing that would let a reader know anything beyond the fact of the software's existence.
