Sarah Palin blamed by the US Secret Service for death threats against Barack Obama

This would be an excellent story if it made clear that death threats were correlated with Sarah Palin's accusations. While they may have been caused by her irresponsible accusations, they have not been proven to be caused by her accusations.

The hateful lies thrown out in front of a riled up crowd have been found to be shortly followed by increased death threats. It is interesting that this is put forward in the UK.

What the heck was she thinking? Was she thinking? Is she blithely ignorant of the dark currents of racism, or was she recklessly using them?
