The article gives the real "Pro-Life" story to preserve life forms from the great extinction that is under way. Informative and urgent information for biodiversity and ecosystems.

Freshwater ecosystems may be the first collapse of one of Earth’s life support systems in 13,000 years. Species that live in lakes and rivers are vanishing four to six times faster than anywhere else on the planet,

“Our priority must be to conserve the last free flowing river systems…there are very few left,” he said.

“There is a real sense of urgency, but not amongst policy-makers,”
