BP Withdraws From Carbon- Capture Project

CCS has so far never been applied on a commercial scale, and there are fears the costs will be prohibitive. Some companies developing the technology say it won't work without big financial incentives.

This is a disappointing story. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a business report (no technology) and it seems to have its facts right -- but there are just so few of them. What prevented BP from finding a power generator with which to partner? What is driving up the costs of the London Array? There is no look below the surface.
