After many months of harsh campaigning on both sides, John McCain conceded to Barack Obama in this tasteful, upstanding and fair speech. He was well composed and articulate, and defied many of the pundits' predictions in his remarks.

Inspiring speech by John McCain, who graciously congratulated Obama for his nomination and offered his full support, in a commendable gesture of reconciliation. His remarks were factual and fair, with real insights and very reasonable calls to action.

I was very moved by this speech, which showed exceptional character during this challenging time. The McCain we used to know appears to be back. Good for him, good for all of us.

This concession speech by John McCain will go down as part of his legacy, and it deserves to be mentioned on NewsTrust and reviewed in the spirit of unity, jubilation and objectivity that Barack Obama symbolizes with his victory on Tuesday,
