Things are coming to a head

If we add another 30,000 or so troops to Iraq, in a final effort to win the war, then we must change (widen) the rules of engagement. Pathetic; it is not journalism. He seems to thnk we have not slaughtered enough (655,000 does not satisfy him) and more shoot-em-up will stop them from being angry at the invasion, occupation, and slaughter. He seems to want to liberate all of them from their oil.

Here is Mr. "Whiney" again spouting the Bechtel line of the Hoover Institution. Hanson's remarks have no authenticity and are not at all trustworthy. As a classisist and historian, his ideas are a shrivelled up as the raisins he raises in Fresno. The man makes stuff up out of wholecloths and pawns it off as historical.

Shorter Hanson: If we all just clap loud enough, this time magic ponies will apear, I swear. As one of the original neocons, Hanson expresses nothing he and others, like Kristol, haven't already said before: if only we kill more people and threaten more countries, peace will spread. How does this guy get gigs on TV?
