Record number of voters expected to deluge polls

What is uncommon about Tuesday's contest is the sheer number of voters expected to descend on more than 7,000 election jurisdictions across the country. Voter registration numbers are up 7.3 percent from the last presidential election.

This is the type of story I expect to see coming from the wires early on election day. While the article itself isn't anything remarkable, it keeps us updated and contributes to the larger record of the days events, setbacks and quirks.
