The largest foreign policy issue that essentially was not discussed during the campaign is the Israel/Palestine problem. A second major issue is the imperial presence of the US in the Middle East, which also was not discussed.

Crucial foreign policy issues could not be discussed during the campaign, for obvious reasons.
