The 2008 presidential campaign has been like no other

The country was a very different place when the 2008 race started. Here's how we got from there to here.

The story is breathtaking, though we tend to take it for granted having lived it day by day. This article recounts the history of the past few years, and it leaves out very little. A treat...and the ending will be upon us quite soon.

Thoughtful retrospective of the two years leading to this historic election. The report is fair, factual, and provides helpful context.

I LOVED the 'man on the street' video showing what people think the next president should do in the first 100 days after getting elected. Their collective answers make good sense: economy, foreign policy, health care and the environment. More importantly, they show a constructive attitude, that is so different from the extremist views presented by partisan factions in the final days of this election. Makes me feel very hopeful about the potential of this nation to rise to the challenge.
