The real value in this story to me was pointing me toward some great blog posts I would have missed otherwise -- namely Aditi Nadkarni's 'Who's sane about Obama's middle name' (see link). That said, Global Voices covers an important topic here and gives us a small but interesting diversity of perspectives. I commend their method of gathering small, independent sources from around the world and giving them a platform for comparison.

Larsen gives us a glimpse as to what non-Americans think of the misinformation about Obama being an Arab. Unfortunately, the perspectives offered don't really bring anything especially insightful to the table. The most interesting nugget is Larsen's observation about which search terms are driving traffic to the site, and its implications.
