Excellent overview of new hydropower initiatives, which promise to generate renewable energy from waves. The report fairly presents useful factual information about both Pelamis and Verdant projects, along with helpful context from multiple perspectives.

the subtitle sums up this story well: several companies are in the midst of tests.... . the costs for experimentation and refinement of technique are very high. what isn't talked about and needs to be is educating the public re' the importance of financing and trying many different methods and types of innovation in alternate energy and how and when to begin focusing in..
