Chicago Tribune endorses Obama

CHICAGO - Declaring that "he is ready," the Chicago Tribune on Friday endorsed Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the first time the newspaper has supported a Democratic nominee for president.

This is an AP story reporting that the Chicago Tribune has endorsed Obama for President. The article quotes a little of the Tribune's reasoning and a political scientist's judgement that endorsements don't mean much. Otherwise, it's just a simple report.
