Insightful piece on an under-reported aspect of a convoluted U.S. immigrations policy: sometimes decades-long waits for families of U.S. citizens to receive visas. The reporter includes important details on visa waits and categories, all part of the confusing immigration backlog, which has increased in this country particularly since 9/11.
