This article effectively explains how many raids the ICE has conducted within a 10-month period, and gets a rough dollar figure for it. With so many government expenditures couched in very general figures (or even not at all), it's important that the public know how much things cost that their government is doing. Without these numbers being public, citizens cannot make informed decisions on issues affecting their lives.
