This is an interesting article on the chaotic political situation in the Ukraine and the free-wheeling way it is covered in the news media. It then contrasts that with the moribund situation in Russia. The article is insightful and covers a subject not often seen in US media.

It presents an honest appraisal of attitudes to politicians and the state of the media in Russia and the Ukraine.

It would seem that the general public's dissolution with politicians may be globally endemic. Perhaps a dangerous condition for democracy.

This news analysis has considerable journalistic merit. It provides insight into the political system in Ukraine and the problems with forming a majority government. It points out how the press is much freer there than in Russia. The author does not claim the Ukraine's politicians are perfect, but that they work in the open.
