Can the GOP steal the election AGAIN? You betcha!

Accordingly, the stark fact remains: the Republicans might "win" this election, regardless of the preference of the voters. The culprits who rigged the previous elections are fully aware that they might face hard time in the federal slammer if President Obama's Attorney General is ordered to investigate past elections. Thus they are acutely motivated to use their considerable resources to keep Obama out of the White House. Full Story »

A lot of people are worried about this. But this is the first post I've seen about it. Though Partridge doesn't prove his fears, he does shed light on a topic a lot of people I know are talking about, but is being completely ignored by the media.

The author does make some statements that are unsupported and are clearly his opinion (campaign imploding, running-mate...laughing stock, etc.). However latter in the article (in the important "tactics" section) he does source some of his statements. This is an article I think that is trying to warn and motivate "the base."

This op-ed has some serious, unsubstantiated claims, most them too general and in need of sourced, specific examples (which are out there in the published world, by the way). Still, it's worth reading about this democracy-corroding problem that seems to occur with increasing frequency and democracy-undermining consequences.

This is an issue that won't go away. I question this business about Acorn coming up all of a sudden right before the election. It's as if the Republicans are trying to distract us while the "real" voter fraud goes on. Any careful study of what happened in the 2000 and 2004 elections wouls shock and surprise a lot of people. So many voters were disenfranchised over petty and even illegal rules and regulations. Yes, even 2004 was stolen. Study the Ohio results very carefully. That was ... More »

This opinion piece has no journalistic merit. It starts out with a nonsensical claim that "McCain's campaign is imploding", when all the non-partisan polls show him closing within 4-5 points of Obama. It then goes on to make claims about Republicans stealing elections, claims that no political scientist would endorse, while neglecting the Democrats' documented theft of Wisconsin in 2004. The author also does not know that the problems in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004 occured in cities and counties with Democratic supermajorities, in many cases with no Republican officials around at all. Poorly sourced and highly biased.
