By virtue of its criticism of journalism, it should be considered significant, and because it is authorative, timely, and interesting, it should be considered excellent. As a culture, we must either rid the political process of exclusion and spiritual destruction or we will eventually revert to fascism. That default political system by another name is very acceptable and agreeable to many who are fundamentally opposed to democracy. As many on the right are wont to say, you are either for (democracy) or you are against it. Choose your side.

I believe that if John McCain wins this election, all elections from then on will be based upon the tactics he has so violently used in this campaign. I have no right or evidence to think that his tactics will fail. This isn't just an election, it is a last chance for true democracy to succeed, and as we have seen in the past, all of democracy's victories have been squeakers.
