This opinion piece has no journalistic merit. It is a campaign ad spread over many pages, in one of the Democratic Party's main media outlets. There is no attempt at balance. It reads like a strategy paper prepared by a member of Obama's staff (and the autrhor may well be on his staff). There is nothing about how McCain and Palin have planned their campaign. Calling Obama "mainstream" (page 6: yes, it was hard, but I actually read that far). is pure propaganda; no independent reporter on politics would make that assertion.
