ISG must stand for, uh, Inane Strategy Guesswork

Well, the ISG -- the Illustrious Seniors' Group -- has released its 79-point plan. How unprecedented is it? Well, it seems Iraq is to come under something called the "Iraq International Support Group." This columnist is far more interested in his own snarky remarks than on providing a well-reasoned argument for his impossibly biased position. This issue demands analysis and mature reflection, and perhaps even a constructive suggestion or two. While it's his right to have his opinion, his writing in this case reaches the low standard of a junior high school bully. All that's missing is the "neener neener."

If the author's purpose was to be praised for his spiteful bravado, he has achieved it in some circles. Unfortunately, he informs the reader of little. Billy Kristol does better.
