The author picks up a point ignored by most of the press. When the fearful woman said "he's an Arab," McCain failed to say that (1) the world if full of people who are of Arab descent who are equally wonderful and ethical with people of any ethnicity, and (2) that the statement that Obama is an Arab was false in addition to the racism of the framing. The point is important and made well.
