Undocumented Asian Students Face Stigma

A recent report by the University of California Office of the President revealed that 40 to 44 percent of undocumented students in the UC system are Asian. Chan says undocumented Asians have more trouble getting an advanced education in California than do undocumented Latinos, mainly due to cultural stigmas. Competent journalism, narrow appeal.

It points top a problem that's often ignored. It also doesn't (maybe couldn't) give data on how many of these students came here with their parents at very young ages, and essentially grew up American. This group is pretty tragic - they can't go back to their 'native' country, and our somewhat insane immigration laws prevent them from becoming legal residents here.
