A well-written article that tells the story of a small town standing up to an overbearing sheriff. However the article's pretense at balance is only superficial in that the townspeople's "David v. Interesting story about the challenges facing citizens of Guadalupe, Arizona, after they confronted their sheriff about his anti-immigration tactics, causing him to cancel his contract and leave them without protection. The issues are very real, and placed in a dramatic context that make them that much more important. Look forward to reading more about this story.

This is a balanced story reporting on the clash of power vs principle in a minority community in the Phoenix area. It lays out the situation clearly, is well sourced and takes no side.

Okay, for journalism. This sheriff is known for his apparent racial tactics. Glad I don' t live in Maricopa County, AZ. Appears to be very red-neck!!!!
