The New Newstrust: Features, Insight from Community

Newstrust, the online community that rates the quality of mainstream an independent news stories, just debuted several new features with its site redesign. I'll confess that until now I hadn't explored this site much because it seemed too cluttered and involved too much of a learning curve. But with the redesign, I think it's much more inviting and accessible.

The author identifes noteworthy changes in this social news service, and provides insightful commentary about their relevance and usability. As the subject of this story, I can confirm its accuracy on all key points -- a rare feat in this day and age ;o) However, no third party sources were consulted for this blog post, which could have provided more independent perspectives on this topic. That said, it's a clear and concise overview of this new development -- and we appreciate the reporter's informative and thoughtful coverage of this promising new field of investigation.

A short, factual and positive review of NewsTrust's new features. That said, however, the review of NewsTrust's contribution as a guide to quality journalism is rather superficial.
