Minority groups to air health care ads

(Blog Post) A coalition of African-American and Hispanic groups said today it will launch an advertising blitz on health care this week. The groups expect to spend as much as $500,000 on television and print ads targeted at lawmakers who represent large black and Latino populations in support of changing the nation's health care system. Though brief, this blog post and accompanying video highlight another set of key groups with a huge stake in health insurance reform: African-Americans and Hispanics. Interesting to read from to see how an Obama-voting block is viewing the debate, and how they creating media to get their views heard.
