Informative report about drug maker Pfizer's deceptive tactics. The article provides a helpful chronology of events, with generally good documentation. However, there is too little information about 'the experts' on whose findings this lawsuit is based -- and I'm concerned about the number of unnamed sources in this story. Overall, a good report on an important topic.

This article reports on a significant and frightening trend in the pharmaceutical industry of choosing company profit over drug effectiveness and patient health. Interesting, solid evidence used to support claims that drug maker Pfizer manipulated medical studies to better market drugs that were proven ineffective. The reporter quotes from emails between Pfizer marketing staff and doctors, and these primary sources tell much of the story. A reliable source is quoted, but overall, the piece would be made much better with additional experts sources and links included. Looking into additional legal consequences would also add more context.

Very well-researched story about one significant example of the problem of pharmaceutical industry control over the research, publication, and publicity of studies of drug efficacy. For more information, consider reading books on this subjects, such as the one by Dr. Cathy deAngelis.
