I don;t understand how they can brace for the hardest part of healthcare reform whenthey are not reforming any to do with healthcare. Thye are estalishing a price control mechanism for insurance companies, doing take backs on Medicare and rasing taxes. I don;t see anything approaching a focus on increasing the quality of people's health in the US. Price controls won;t work because you are not dealing with demand, raising taxes is counterproductive as it will result in lower benfits as higher cost for business, therefore an indirect consumer tax. And taing away Meciare benefits without a valid restructuring is a bandaid on a bulet wound. All these writers don;t care about the subject, neither do the writers - it's all the political dance for them.
