While the article offers merely a summary of facts highlighting the tourism drought in Mexico, the information accurately illuminates the country's complications and offers several solutions backed by reliable, important quotes.

Such a drastic drop in tourism, an industry Mexico is so dependent on, can only be a result of the difficult financial situation all over the United States paired with the media capitalizing on the fear of the American people. The coverage of the swine flu epidemic was drastically exaggerated and Mexico, as a result, suffered greatly.
