Both in content and style I find this article exellent in that it not only presents Simmons theory of peak oil, but traces its history back to Hubbert, the originator of the theory. It relies on numerous sources for data and exposes OPECs manipulation of reserve estimates to suit their production decisions. Brian O'Keefe does an exellent job of putting this piece in an informative and interesting format.
