This is not a very fair or balanced opinion piece, but it is quite informative. It explains where liberals stand on the issue of coal, and makes a partial, though interesting case against boycotting new coal-fire plants. Overall though I didn't feel the arguments added up.

Reasonable evidence provided for some assertions. As is often the case with opinion, key assertions have no support at all. I find no report of vandalism on the home of Jim Rogers. The information about James Hansen's support for the Kingsnorth Six implies that Hansen himself argued that the defendants had a "lawful excuse", when his testimony was only about climate change and included no such terms.
