Why McCain is going so negative, so often.

This opinion piece has minimal journalistic value. The author does not take into account the far greater number of attacks on McCain and Palin by the Obama camp. Two weeks of incessant attacks on Gov Palin including an attack cover on Obama's close friend's US Weekly. Numerous attacks on McCain, such as the "can't use email" one, the stupdiity which caused dismay even among many Democrats. So why are McCain's comparatively modest attacks considered newsworthy?
