The implicit response to the title. "I'm Ready" is "for what?" What the interview really showed is that she is woefully unprepared for the office of vice president--and even scarier, president. When one is overly confident about jumping into the river, perhaps it's because one doesn't realize how many alligators are in the water.

I keep reading comments on articles that say Palin seems really nice. And she does. From accounts I've heard from people who've met him, so is Dubya. That doesn't mean he hasn't been a disaster for this country. And so will Palin. She also seems, as this article indicates, to have unbounded--and possibly unfounded--self-confidence. And almost no real understanding of the issues she would face. Her handlers no doubt did their best to cram her with information. And she still looked woefully ignorant as this article d points out quite politely.
