Feaver wrongly assumes Iran in effect is secretly developing nuclear weapons, and this completely undermines his analysis. The outgoing head of the IAEA says he has not seen any evidence Iran has an on-going nuclear weapons program.

Obama needs to engage with Iran on numerous issues, with a view toward restoring normal relations beteen the US and Iran. Iran's support of Hamas should not prevent this, even if the Israeli right-wing would object.
