The headline states, Brown Backs Obama, yet the evidence offered only reveals Brit Gordon Brown wrote something very positive about Obama and Democratic plans to help people through these economically troubling times. He failed to mention McCain or the Republicans once. Brown may well privately back Obama, but the author offers evidence too weak to make such a sweeping claim. Still, it is interesting to learn England's prime minister is "electrified" by our election campaigning and views the Democrats as the party with the people-helping ideas.

This news report has considerable journalistic merit. However that is only including the "11PM UPDATE" at the end, which provides much of the context. Well-balanced with plusses and minuses for both American and two British parties (nothing is said about the Liberal Democrats, howver, which is a shortcoming)
