We're Gonna Frickin' Lose this Thing

"Stop saying that!" my wife says to me. But this is not a high school football game and I'm not a cheerleader with a bad attitude. This is an election and as things stand now, we're gonna frickin' lose this thing. Obama and McCain at best are even in the polls nationally and in a recent Gallup poll McCain is ahead by four points.

At last, an opinion piece looking at the campaign from the Democrat’s point of view. Not since Nazi Germany has any country perfected such a powerful propaganda machine as has been created by the centralized ownership of the media encouraged and sanctioned by the Bush administration. The result is that the media, under strict orders from their pro-conservative executives, spent most of 2008 campaigning for McCain—and now for his albatross VP nominee, Palin. The article raises an intriguing question: what shall happen to America—already in the midst of its decline as a world power—under another Bush? Whatever happens, what we get is what we deserve.
