We're Gonna Frickin' Lose this Thing

"Stop saying that!" my wife says to me. But this is not a high school football game and I'm not a cheerleader with a bad attitude. This is an election and as things stand now, we're gonna frickin' lose this thing. Obama and McCain at best are even in the polls nationally and in a recent Gallup poll McCain is ahead by four points.

McKay's concerns are thought provoking and certainly understandable in light of the chicanery of the last few elections. McKay expresses what many have been thinking - we are about to get hosed again. Many who responded felt the same frustrations, however, a few wise folks steered the conversation back to all the reasons we should be optimistic. Good, now we said it, so let's move forward fearlessly to win. (I think his wife has it right - "quit saying that")
