We're Gonna Frickin' Lose this Thing

"Stop saying that!" my wife says to me. But this is not a high school football game and I'm not a cheerleader with a bad attitude. At last, an opinion piece looking at the campaign from the Democrat’s point of view. Not since Nazi Germany has any country perfected such a powerful propaganda machine as has been created by the centralized ownership of the media encouraged and sanctioned by the Bush administration. The result is that the media, under strict orders from their pro-conservative executives, spent most of 2008 campaigning for McCain—and now for his albatross VP nominee, Palin. Many who responded felt the same frustrations, however, a few wise folks steered the conversation back to all the reasons we should be optimistic. Good, now we said it, so let's move forward fearlessly to win. (I think his wife has it right - "quit saying that")
