This brief article mentions a few (4 of 72) of the solutions at the Demo show in San Diego. The article spends most of its copy on describing SpinSpotter, a browser plugin that would allow readers to view vetting from other readers and a few "referees". Of interest, they do not mention the similar function provided by NewsTrust.net. There is little insightful analysis, and most of the firms don't even get a hyperlink.
