Yes, this does give the general outline of health care in the United States, but it also gives pointers on how to deal with the health care system and gives specific stories of people who have experienced both negative and positive issues of health care. This is almost like a "how-to" manual of the health care system and it is a very useful resource for those who are still unsure of how it works or may or may not benefit them,.
