A fairly lame little blurb briefly covering the extreme reactions towards the LHC. It does have a good quotation from Cory Doctorow (quoting a physicist) regarding the likelihood of evaporating while shaving vs. the LHC ending the world.

Other reviews here might judge this post by the NewsTrust.net protocol, and in doing so, might miss something more basic: What is a blog, why are we reviewing it here, and by what criteria? This is a quick read, short and to the point. While it does make opponents of the device sound like nutters, it covers all the basics very well.

Hardly an article as much as a news byte, This is what I would expect from the local news. And no, we're not likely to all die next week, at least not because of something CERN does.
