World's First Really Clean Coal Plant Gets a Try-Out in Germany

Next week, German officials will flip the switch and turn on the world's first coal-fired power plant to use carbon capture and storage technology, in which carbon dioxide is stripped out the plant's emissions and pumped deep underground. Several links, one of them malformed. This story does not answer my main question, which is about the economics of this new demonstration plant. But it does give relevant information in the vision that clean coal technology might be possible by 2020. Only one small direct quote, and no balancing viewpoints.

Wow! This is a model blog entry. It cites tons of sources, gives bunches of facts, yet is clean, crisp, and to the point. It's only weakness in on the balance side. While it gives a great link to a site that casts doubt on "clean coal" technology, giving those concerns a few sentences would have given them more impact for casual readers who are unlikely to follow the external links.
