This was an article that forced me to slow down and savor the prose while the facts tended to themselves. This opinion piece was a fair assault. Fair in the fact that it was highly critical but not an ad hominem attack; Assault in the fact that this was a confrontation of the precepts of the McCain as well as the underlying greater ideology. Steinem's clarity and execution was impressive as was the critical analysis - particularly when one grasps the context of the fact that the woman's perspective 'big-picture' was being painted by America's First Woman of Liberation. This article was substantive, substantiated and sublime.
