The author offers an interesting, however very biased and under-researched opinion. The article tries to overshadow wrongdoing on the behalf of ACORN with the importance of supporting the voice of the impoverished.

The author makes a fairly drastic assumption when claiming that an attack on ACORN is an attack on community organizing, because the organization has participated in a fair share of sneaky business. However he does offer an interesting point when suggesting that large companies participate in behavior much worse than that of ACORNS and are not met with same sort of attacks.
