I rarely read the Anchorage Daily News but I always find it informative to check out the local news when a specific region is of great interest. I immediately went to local Alaska news sources as soon as I learned about the Governor being on the Republican ticket. This article was factual and informational. Only my ignorance of local news sources of Alaska leaves me to rate it poorly as to trust. The Seattle media also seems to be more interested in Alaska than other American areas. I haven't checked out Canadian sources yet but I hope others have been active.
