I appreciate the work that Amy Goodman does with Democracy NOW!, but in some of these stories and panel discussions there is just far too much perspective and not enough factual evidence. I get great insight from the lawyers, legal scholars and other experts she has on the show, but I rarely feel like I get the whole picture. That is the case with this report, which involves the arrest of the RNC Welcoming Committee. I want to know more about the conditions of the arrest and continued custody -- most of this comes from the third-hand account of father of one of the activists, which is unsatisfactory. It's a newsworthy subject, but I leave this unfulfilled.
